The PBS American Portrait storytelling project asked Americans to submit their individual stories, in the form of images, videos, and text, by responding to one of a number of prompts. Produced by Radical Media, the project culminated in an interactive website, broadcast docuseries, public art project, mural series, and book.
My role as Assistant Content Producer was to conduct outreach, manage an Airtable library of 14,000+ assets, and curate stories. My team edited weekly video reels for social media and web. We assisted in collecting media for the documentary series and book.

Mural Project
One of the projects that emerged from the American Portrait storytelling initiative was a series of public murals. Eight stories were paired with eight artists who designed the mural based on a quote from the story. I edited this teaser to introduce the murals.

Weekly Reel
Each week my team would curate a Featured Collection of user stories, and edit a one-minute reel.
This reel is from our Featured Collection promoting the second episode of the docu-series, “I Work”.
